Cobli had developed a connected car system that used data logging via a vehicles OBD II port (on board diagnostics). They approached us to develop a custom-designed OBD II device to replace the off-the-shelf unit they had been using for initial user testing. 

We improved ergonomics for easy plug and pull actions even for users with reduced dexterity and maintained low unit costs, using best practices in design for manufacturability and assembly. CLEAR design lab developed a friendly, curving form that meshed with the easy interface their app.
